Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour ▢2 tablespoons sugar ▢2 teaspoons baking powder ▢1 teaspoon baking soda ▢½ teaspoon salt ▢2 cups buttermilk ▢⅓ cup butter, melted ▢2 eggs ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step-1 

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.

Step-2

Then whisk together buttermilk and butter in another medium bowl. Add eggs in, and stir until combined.

Step-3

Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk until just combined, fold in vanilla. (there were still lumps). Let batter rest for 10 minutes.

Step-4

Preheat waffle iron, then grease. Pour about ⅓-½ cup of batter into the waffle iron (or until batter reached about ½ inch to the edge of the iron). 

Step-5

Cook until light brown. Top with syrup or other favorite toppings like berries or whip cream.
